Common questions about /setworldspawn

›Does this override beds?

No. A player with a valid bed or respawn anchor still returns there; the world spawn is only the fallback.

›Why do players not all spawn on the exact block I set?

The spawn-radius game rule scatters new arrivals around the world spawn point rather than stacking them on one block. Set that rule to 0 to pin everyone to the exact position.
